There are plenty of possibilities to enjoy the beautiful nature around the famous Matterhorn. Hike or bike on one of the numerous trails around this cosy little town or take the cable car up to “Klein-Matterhorn” or the rack railway up to the “Gornergrat”. You will find yourself surrounded by 38 four-thousand-metre peaks and the views are spectacular!
Coming back into town after a day in the mountains, there are lots of restaurants and bars just waiting to be explored. End your day with a traditional dinner and a good glass of wine from the Wallis.
